St. Michael Teen Prayer Group
All teens in grades 7-12 are invited to come to Teen Prayer. This group's mission is to unite the teens of St. Michael Catholic Church in fellowship, spiritual growth, and prayer for one another.
On First Fridays, teens meet in the youth group room in the mezzanine of the gym (Parish Life Center) at 5:30pm to visit and hang out. The group then moves to the church for Adoration and to offer up their prayers to Our Lord. Those who are interested are also invited to drive for pizza to continue the fun.
Beginning September 18, 2022, the Teen Prayer Group will be discussing Theology of the Body for Teens during our 3rd Sunday of the month meetings. We will work through the DVDs and workbooks from the Ascension Press, “Theology of the Body for Teens: Discovering God’s Plan for Love and Life” written by Brian Butler, Jason Evert, and Colin & Aimee MacIver. The group will meet in the youth group room above the gym between the Sunday Masses (roughly 9:30am – 10:50am). All teens are invited. To participate, each youth will require a signed parent permission slip which can be downloaded here or picked up at the September 18th meeting. Friday evening Teen Prayer meetings will remain the same and will not have discussions on this curriculum. Please contact Laura Lake at [email protected] with questions or for more information.
