Fundraisers

Fundraisers are one way to help support the ministries and mission of St. Michael. Listed below are fundraisers that are ongoing and are not annual events.  Annual events, such as raffles, bingo, etc., are published in the parish bulletin, website, and weekly email.  Contact the Parish Office at 317-462-4240 for more information.

Bags for Bucks

Trash bags are available for purchase in the Parish Office year round and by order each spring.  Purchasing high quality trash bags in a variety of sizes helps support St. Michael! Bags are $13 per roll or $70 or a case of 6.  You are welcome to mix and match rolls in your case.  Choose from the following:

• White drawstring 13-gallon bags (45 per roll)
• White 18-gallon bags (60 per roll)
• Black 30-gallon bags (40 per roll)
• Yellow 39-gallon bags (20 per roll)
• Green 55-gallon bags (15 per roll)

Kroger

Kroger shoppers can help St. Michael Catholic School every time they shop and use their rewards card. Simply register your card on the Kroger website with The Community Rewards program, under the Savings and Rewards tab. Our organization is listed as St. Michael Catholic Church, PS 950. This money supports the school with classroom supplies, books, and technology, such as iPads. We hope that you will join us in supporting our school through this easy to use program. Help is available by calling 1-800-KRO-GERS (576-4377). Friends and family can help also, shopping at any Kroger store with a registered card benefits our school.

SCRIP Gift Cards

The SCRIP program is a year-round fundraiser with proceeds supporting St. Michael Church & School and families with children in the school or Religious Education program. The SCRIP gift card program allows the parish to purchase gift cards from numerous national and local retailers at a discount. The cards are sold at full face value; the discount value is typically 3-10% and becomes revenue for the program. Each family chooses how that revenue should be used: donated to the school, donated to the church, or used as a credit towards the family's tuition or Religious Education fees. Cards can be used for everyday expenses such as groceries, gas and clothing, or given as gifts. Cards are available for sale in the Parish Office during the week. Cards may also be ordered online at www.shopwithscrip.com, school code: F7CC6C514197.  Any cards we do not have on hand can be ordered Tuesday mornings by 9am, to be available Friday after 12 noon or after church that weekend. All sales and orders must be paid for by cash or check. Online orders may also be paid by direct debit through the site’s PrestoPay option.
