Women's Club

The Women's Club will work to promote the spiritual and personal growth of the women of the parish through faith, service, and fellowship while adhering to the mission, vision, and goals of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Women's Club Mission Statement

The Women's Club gets together on the third Tuesday of each month after the 6 p.m. Mass in the Fr. Severin Parish Life Center, Rm. 2.  A morning get together is held each month on the fourth Monday of the month at 10 a.m. in the Parish Office Meeting Room.  The same information will be shared at both gatherings so please come to the one that best fits your schedule.  If your last names begins with the letter A-M, bring a savory snack and if your name begins with the letter N-Z, bring a sweet snack.  Water will be provided, but if you prefer a different beverage feel free to bring it with you.

Upcoming Events

Women’s club will not be meeting in July

In August, we have Jeannie Crowe, the director of Hancock Regional Hospice, coming to speak at both the Tuesday evening and Monday morning get togethers. There were many women at the June get together who expressed an interest in being better informed about the handling of care and legal issues as our loved ones age. Questions, such as, "What information would be advantageous to have ahead of time before a decision needs to be made in an emergency?" will be answered.

In September, we will have a medical coordinator of patient care who will be able to answer what different resources are available as decisions for care need to be made. It was also suggested that an attorney who deals exclusively with elderly issues would be beneficial as well. This way, all paperwork needed can be in order ahead of any emergency happening.

After all of that stuff, we need to lighten the mood, so we will be having a fall get together in October at the Farrell farm. All women of the parish are encouraged to attend this fun event. There will be a hayride and chili and hot dogs will be provided. Those who come are asked to bring a side or dessert to share. Time to relax and have some fun together ladies. Exact date will be set soon.

Looking forward to seeing all of you at one or all of the upcoming events.
